Welcome to the current middle ages in Uppsala, Sweden.
The Shire of Aros is a part of the Principality of Nordmark, in the Kingdom of Drachenwald which is one of nineteen Kingdoms that make up the world-wide Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The focus for the SCA is to re-create the feel of the middle ages through events, crafts, combat and chivalry.
SKA Aros is the mundane association located in Uppsala, incorporated as a part of SKA Nordmark, which is the Swedish national association that is affiliated to SCA Inc.
In Uppsala we meet up for crafts, sewing, calligraphy, fighter practice and enjoy each others’ company.
